Here's my thought-
You should spend less time worrying about Laticia and more time trying to find a job where you get paid for your time.
I hope your regular, annual salary is a boatload (I don't know what ER personnel make) to make up for having to be called in for unpaid 'on call' work. If not, I would find a new career.
