My ire is DEFINITELY directed at her. The State of California has graciously provided her with high quality free healthcare. The hospital 10 miles north of ours is a Medicare contracted facility. And its a brand new $800 million facility. If she goes there, everyone gets paid, the anesthesiologist and the obstetrician. This was explained to her during her last visit to our hospital. She has a fully paid medical team waiting for her 10 minutes away. She simply doesn't care.
And she owns a car, but always calls 911 when she needs a ride to the hospital because it's "free" and her hubby can use the car while she visits the hospital.
I admitted her to the hospital at 10 AM. It's moving very slowly. I don't expect her to deliver till sometime tomorrow. I won't be going home tonight. Yeah, I'm pissed.
