peter thanks - westchester is very special to me - my grandfather was very good friends with tom carvel and he built many of the early self standing carvel stores.
our family has owned store#9 since 1952 and its located near peekskill - i grew up working at the store thru my college years. we also had a bar/resturant on the property which was called "papa bears" - not sure how old you are but if you were in HS during the 70's or 80's it was a big hang out with great bands.

wanted to mention that i experienced very troubling damage to my 83 cabriolet that i owned back in 1999 - i took my wife to portland overnight and parked on the street - our friends place we stayed overnight was right across the st. from the mayors house in NW portland.
i woke up to find someone had kicked the drivers door in about 9" - i could see clearly the sneaker footprint right in the middle of the drivers door. i can't tell you how upsetting it was.

i never park my '59 356 anywhere w/o keeping an eye on it - i wouldn't leave my 911 anywhere either for fear of it being stolen.

there are too many nut jobs/drug addicts who want to damage or steal.

thanks again for accepting my appology.
