Car transport, with a twist - lots of them
Theoretical question for now... I've used car shippers before, so I know how this works and what it costs... It may become cost prohibitive at a certain point, say if you plan on relocating cross country and own more than 5 cars ;-)
A friend mentioned hiring a private transporter and fill up his truck, and let my classic (or regular) car insurance take car of protection - should be covered regardless...
Has anyone done something like that ? I liked Reliable/intercity from past experience (Hell even DAS did fine by me despite what I'm hearing here), but unless they do mass discounts, I'm looking at a 5 digit bill based on what the last car shipment cost me... Nope, no relo money from work sadly !
