For me, its rare for me to meet a girl I might even think I like. Because of that, if I do meet a girl I might like, I won't let myself have regrets about not saying anything. I was at an event last October, an acquaintance had a friend with a question, he didn't know the answer, pointed my way, and said ask him, he knows everything. Didn't take me 30 seconds to realize I might like this girl. I asked if I'd see her around again, I was bummed when she said she was going to be busy with school, she wasn't from the USA, and was going back to her country after school! >_<
Never hurts to ask, and I'd kickmyself if I didn't I felt bummed though that she was leaving the country.
Oh, then she said she was coming back next year...I got her contact info. When she got back into town this year, we went racing, and have been out to the track a bit. Highly independent girl, I sometimes feel like I'm getting no where, but I ain't givin' up.
But anyway, if you don't say something, you'll never know. I naturally avoid girls with heavy cosmetics, and in my area, that seemingly describes about 95% of females in my age range.
I have a friend that met his wife while playing counterstrike, they lived like three states away, but drove to meet eachother in RL, and well, hit it off well. They've been married three years now.
I have another friend who saw a girl he might like in traffic, soooo, he hit her car...got her number, they where married about a year later.
