I just sold my 88 Targa and purchased this 04 C4S with 24,300 miles, and need some advice about maintenance. Maintenance records are sketchy at best. Looks like oil changes were done and one brake fluid change was done about 4 years ago at 16,000 miles. It also looks like most things were checked like brake pads and fluid levels, and but I can't find much else being changed. The car is in great shape and runs perfectly. I need to figure what is needed to get maintenance up to date. Here what I had on my list to do right away:
Brake fluid change - dot 4
Air filter change
Here is what I am not so sure about
:
Hydraulic Clutch fluid? (Clutch seems just a bit stiff but works fine.)
Coolant?
Spark plugs (with so little miles not sure this is needed)
Am I missing anything? Appreciate all advice. Thanks!
