Stop. If you are using a factory BMW paddock stand, and want to reinstall the original stand that came on the bike...............you will need to press the original bushings back into the frame so that the two machined blocks will fit. If one uses the factory paddock stand, these bushings are removed along with the original center stand when one uses the paddock stand. The black, stepped lip, circle chunk you show in your picture may be the drift that is used to remove.....and replace the thin bushing that presses into the two frame holes where the attaching bolts, spacers, and spring tabs go.

Right now, go and check to see if the spacers you have will actually fit snugly in the frame holes............or are they loose because a bushing in needed. Order some bushings and O rings to if needed.
