I used an SVT-810 for years. I never had the head though just the cab. I used a variety of heads though from a stereo BGW amp that was bridged to make 900 watts to a Hartke 3500 @ 400 watts. Anything that you used to run that cab just sounded awesome. The are a biotch to move around though. We played cruise ships for a while in the 80's and it was a nightmare getting it on and off the ship. Nothing...yes nothing sounds like an 8x10 svt ...nothing. Even at low volume.
