You know, I've never done an A/B comparison of bass amps of any kind. In my head, at least, they all sound the same. I'm going to have to change that with a little education at my local guitar store.
I heard an interesting statistic the other day...Fender owns something like 70+% of the above-$500 bass guitar market. And the bass market is around 7% the size of the guitar market.
With those kind of numbers I'm surprised Fender puts any money into its bass products at all...
I wonder how the bass amp numbers fall out.
