Dame engine fs

I have, the best I can tell, a complete Dame 1600 engine to sell. It is in pieces needing reassembly. The case was cleaned, jugs honed, heads rebuilt and a ton of new parts purchased. I purchased a car, this came with it as extra. This was a running engine when removed, car received a 912 transplant, previous owner said it was ready to assemble.

Case #P 72 850 also stamped 28456 This makes it a 1959 I believe.
Rods, which appear prepped and balanced #50203 105
Jugs #1873 freshly honed
Cam #539 05 103 AE
Carbs 32 NDIX DVG
Heads appear rebuilt 101/8 H

Among the many new and refurbished parts are main and rod bearings, gen 6v.,billions of specialty bolts and nuts, complete gaskets sets, dist., push tubes, clutch, deeves rings (standard I think), prepped crank (.010 under) lord knows what else. I mean there's a lot of pieces here.
Pistons are used marked 82.45 look pretty good
All of the ancillary parts are here, oil pump, fuel pump, air boxes, heat boxes, throttle linkage, gen tower, dip stick, bunch of tin bits and shrouding, etc.
As I said, best I can tell this is a complete unit. I am not an expert or all that versed in 356s though!

I've been told this engine is worth anywhere from $1500 to $10,000. I suspect somewhere in the middle is reasonable. I can email pictures if seriously interested. I welcome any input or suggestions. This is not a fire sale but I would like to find a good home for this.

Thanks for this forum.
