BPH is enlargement, treated with flomax or uroxatrol. Cancer is cancer. But prostatitis is a third thing and not one you mentioned. Usually it's a deeply embedded infection that cause enlargement of a different sort than BPH. Usually a 30 day long course of cipro or levaquin will quell it, and cause all sorts of other GI and tendon issues...
Spicy foods, caffeine, and putting it where it doesn't belong can all set you back again.
