Hello.

I've been on a mission to detail my car to almost -as new- condition.

On the lower part of the 928 there is plastic cladding along with white road divider line paint.

It is significant enough to want to remove. Some blobs are around-.020 in height.
I can remove some with my finger nail without damage to the paint.
But on most, I'm breaking nails here!!-to the point of pain.- I am no hand model.

I've been using Maguier's polish with good results on the whole but god help me if I let it dry.

It essentially doe's nothing for these city caused graffiti on my car.

What doe's one use?-Scraping a bit with a plastic blade perhaps?-I'd rather use a rubbing compound. Is that the key, or is it too harsh.
