Hello from AZ. Things are turning around and hope to have another 911 soon. My friend in Scottsdale came across another car which will have it checked out Monday. My wife has been great and cant believe all the comments and support. I read a couple of the posts about it doesn't look like the same car. I can assure you it is the same car. Like many of you Porsche "nuts" I too spent hundreds of hours rebuilding the car and could tell immediately it was mine. I placed the gold engine stickers on the body in a non perfect manner as well as the door strike plates are new and are black. I regards to removing the stripes it was an attempt to make the car unrecognizable. The fingerprinting dust did adhere to the glue. No idea about the wheels, the front window was broken.
Again I really would like to post as much as I can but we were truly devastated by the whole matter, loss of the car and money. The shell is going to the insurance company and have no interest in rebuilding this car. Kids understand and we will have fun with the next project. I also would like to give my sincere thanks for offering assistance in rebuilding of donating parts, most appreciated. I will definitely keep you posted on the developments. Next car will have full replacement and LoJack without question and it's a reminder to all. Sorry for the spelling Im on a iPhone but wanted to let everyone know as some thought this was a joke or something.
Take care and see you on the road soon!
