By standing up, I assume you mean input shaft down. Sitting on its bell housing.

Just behind the bell housing is the tranny vent (kind of a hexagonal thing with a hole in it that screws into the tranny case.)

As you can assume, it is venting. Specifically its fluid onto floor. Check to see if that is the source.
