I don't agree. These cars are beginning to hit their stride as far as appreciation whether we believe it or not. The car looks very clean to me, with most importantly, all the required 1973 appropriate parts. I would budget $20,000 for exterior refurbishing (Paint, bodywork and bright work) $10,000 for interior reupholstering and $20,000 for mechanical refreshening. This would leave me with a #1 car for $100,000. I do believe a professional like California Porsche Restoration, TLG/Esposito or TRE would be able to do it cheaper than me. With that being said this car doesn't look like it needs that much work but then again I am veiwing through the internet. I will say the purchaser is starting with a much better foundation than I started with when I restored my 69S.
