a friend just called me to ask about this brass ball his cousin found somewhere. he thinks it's about the size of a cue ball or bigger. he's going to send me more info later. they were curious/worried if it might be a civil war cannon ball of some type and if it might be dangerous if still live. I told him they should maybe call the state police and have them check it out. anyone have a guess what it might be based on just the little info I have so far and the picture? I've seen many cannon balls small to large but never a brass one. there is another plug like the one showing on the other side
