I may be out of line here but I would like to ask for the support of the Pelicans community. You may have heard of the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life."
My family became involved in Relay for Life because of my Father who passed in 2000 from stomach cancer just days after his sixty-fourth birthday. This will be our team's ninth year relaying in support of all who have been touched by cancer and in hopes of a cure. This year is special for us as one of our team has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of skin cancer.
