I started using ATMs in the late 70s. Once when I was hoping to get $10 out of my account I saw a ATM receipt laying there. It showed the balance of the account for someone was over 30K. I kept that receipt to use to write my phone number on to give to a girl.
Remember this was years before the cell phone.
