The audience went nuts at that scene when I saw it.
I liked what most critics have complained about - the thin plot. With so many characters, most movies make the mistake of trying to give everyone a plot line or their own little drama and bog down the film (see "The Expendables" or the "We Are The World Video"). Knowing that the audience knows the characters and the set-up, they were able to hit the ground running and keep things moving.
Even so, there were some good human moments. Tony and Pepper sparring, and Pepper's chumminess with Coulson flowed. Ruffalo's Banner was good as well.
