Somehow I just don't remember looking at the 911 when I was 18 and saying "Man I bet a V-8 would kick ass in that car".
Just my opinion, but what Dr. Porsche created was a whole car not something to be Frankenstiened. I hope I don't sound preachy but that's what this board is all about.
