and i dont quite understand why your dissing Maine either...pretty tough country to survive in. harsh and cold and wet and few people and lots of empty land where people hunt and fish for a living and to survive and to cure boredom. I would reckon most the people in Maine are a hell of a lot more skilled at out door survival than what passes for the "wild west" these days or compared to anywhere in the USA except for Alaska

next time your in the East, spend some time in the country and report back
