I suppose the internet IS mostly used by children, but I was hoping to find a haven for adults who have a passion for these beautiful little cars. The ONLY point of the V8 conversion is economic torque. That is it, period. No puny diesel or Geo motors, that is bizzar and yields no cheap power. To each his own, no reason to be rude. I have stated in previous posts that it is true that a hybrid Porsche is no longer a Porsche, it is an extremely powerful and economic supercar that has the beautiful looks of a Porsche. According to Rod Simpson he has raced his Porchev for 30 years now consistantly wipping turbo butt and being scorned by factory and private teams alike - but he stays out there, having a tremendous amount of fun for a lot less $$$. If you are wealthy enough to do the turbo tango I am very happy for you. Have a little respect for the engineering soles who have more sense than to spend tens of thousands of dollars for the sake of purity.
