the only way the sport is handed down is by ones parents.
/grandparents. you dont just read a book/watch TV or ipad and go hunting/fishing. it takes alot of time mistakes to find game let alone down game.

many people think they know it all, let alone the fact they would probably die in a true survival situation. going to rei and buying all the latest goofy gear, doesnt mean you have the skills to survive inclement weather, or even get onto game let alone get a shot.

many many people get discouraged.


many many ill prepared people DIE! and GET EATEN because ALL THEY BROUGHT WAS BEAR SPRAY and lil BELLS! LMFAO! darwin at its BEST!


many many many people CANNOT handle the boredom(city slickers). and thats FINE BY ME because the less people the BETTER IT IS!



we saw NO PEOPLE.....................................NONE / NADA / ZIP!

many many people do not appreciate nor care for the outdoors evident by their SLOB WAYS! and trashing the hell out of the place.


we just got back from scouting this weekend. got out of werk at 1pm sat., gassed up, thru the ice chest beer spoons in the truck and we were the HELL OUTTA DODGE in 40 minutes wifey and myself.


did we see elk? nope. saw sign/track poo etc. downed fences w/fur on it etc. ton of deer less than 1.5 miles from our deer camp last october. the pic of the SPEED GOATS was a hoot.


blasted a 100rds on the HK USP full size .45 what a blast that was. still needs to be benched and sighted.


wifey blasted 500 rds(brick) out of her browning buckmark camper. learned FTF/FTE DRILLS. gawd help any bad guy she confronts. she is a SHOOTIST! she spent 2 hrs sunday looking for new grips for her browning buckmark! yep shes hooked!

i blasted a 100 rds .38 out of marlin lever and 100rds of .357(last to clean the lead out). that was a hoot. its dead nutz sighted in.

probably blasted another 250 rds out of my 22/45 ruger.


came back to total ho hum city boredom.



give me the outdoors any day.



p.s. what pissed wifey off really bad and set the shooting tone was there was some slob who left some beer bottles where we were shooting. i asked her can ya hit it? she took 10 rds right off the bat and missed. the next thing i said was "HOLD MA BEER and WATCH THIS(honest).......................AND NAILED IT 1st shot!

yes we picked up their trash.


that pissed her off and after about 500rds downrange for her.................well NOTHING WAS SAFE from her new found expertise. LOL!
