Please realize that "the forum" has no idea how sophisticated you are. You must ALWAYS buy with resale in mind - even if this is a forever car. I like the Holt car better. But - there are many people who say "any color but red" when looking for a car, and there are a lot of people who don't like whale tails, even factory. The original buyer wanted sports seats and front and rear spoilers. How hard did he push the car? The "Raised Hub" steering wheel for
'89 is a 4 spoker. This looks either from an earlier car or aftermarket - not a big deal. After market radio (+ or -).
I'm probably going to be banned from the board for saying this, but I prefer the 964 to the Carrera 911. I too wanted a Targa, and ended up with an '89 911 because I couldn't find a top quality 964.
QUESTION FOR THE BOARD: My car has the little Porsche crests on the interior door handles like the second car. Any idea where they came from? I don't see them on the invoice, so I wonder if they are a dealer add or just plain aftermarket. (The same crest is on my gearshift knob.)
