First off, it's a pretty car, the stance is perfect; but that running gear is less than ideal, and you need to consider how that will make you feel after the papers have been signed. If you can STEAL it, it would probably be worthwhile.
(And actually, except for the resale value, a slushbox could be a good thing; much much easier to drive in traffic - but that seems to be the last thing on the minds of people who love these cars.)
