I originally thought I'd put 205/50 and 225/50 tires on the car with the 7R wheels. But, pictures like this ...
... make we wonder. Those rear tires look BIG - none of these low profile wonders back in '72. So how about 205/65 and 225/60? They'd have that old timey look, they're very close to the standard size (actually closer than 205/60, just the other way) and I can get AVS Intermediates in those sizes for $44 a pop.
Anyone running that size tire on an early car? Thoughts?
