There is a Porsche God. My son who was a Toyota master tech, was just hired by the local Porsche dealership. It realized there was a treasure trove of experience in the old grey heads of their current technicians who would be retiring soon. So he and an ex-BMW tech (both in their late 20's)were taken on to learn the Porsche way from the experienced current techs and to be the "next generation" (their phrase). He now smiles condescendingly at my '77 911S--- but I can get hard to find parts at cost.
