Okay, I'm not 100% sure from the photo, however, this is what happens when the rod bolts let go and loosen up. This affliction affects all the 3.6 engines (I believe the 993s too!), and the 3.3 Turbos, and the 3.2 Carreras. Replace your rod bolts with aftermarket ARP or RaceWare bolts when you rebuild your engine!
