I am replacing the passenger door on my 72 T due to damage to the original door. I have the door fitted correctly and I am getting ready to strip it for paint.
The original door does not have an outside mirror. The replacement door has a black plastic mirror installed.
I noticed that our host does not have an original exterior mirror for the 72, but there is a reproduction stainless steel mirror available:

Should I replace the mirror with the reproduction mirror or should I eliminate the mirror (and holes) from my 72? My goal is to make my 72 as original as possible and possible show car (although probably not concours).
How common were these passenger side mirrors? Were they even available from Porsche? Any experts want to offer their advise?
