Have you seen Word Card Mobile? ...it predates QR and with one tap, it takes a pict of a b'card, OCR's the info, and drops the info into the appropriate contact fields. (email, office ph, cell, address...)
THEN you can use the guys b'card to pick your teeth after lunch.
