Open the end where the lens and bulb are, take those out, then use something like a broom handle or dowel to ram down into the top of the stuck battery to pop it out.
Maybe soak the bottom cap and bottom four inches of the shaft in a water-baking soda mix and see if that cuts/dissolves the corrosion out of there.
