Thought I would update, those who care, about the progress of the V8 Bastard.
Anyhow, I desided to pull the engine and build the engine to be a semi race engine since I rarely drive the car on the street anymore thanks to a company car. I went with a Callies racemaster Crank, Eagle ISP H-beam rods, Lunati pistons and a higher rpm cam. This will allow a 7000rpm shift instead of the 5700 that I was shifting at thus allowing me to hold a gear longer, etc. I will also upgrade the cooling system to a bigger radiator. Projected Hp should be 500, with torque around 485.
An Accusump has been added to prevent oil starvation in the turns and works very well. Also I have switched to Supertrapp mufflers and love the sound, and was at least 10lbs lighter than the last setup.
