I have a friend looking for one as a first car for a teenager.

V6, automatic, something in the $7K range, maybe $8K tops.

So it looks like something from the 2001-2004 year range.

Any major changes during those years? Any recommendations? Things to look out for?

(I don't know anything about them, all I could tell him was to try to get a well set up one).
