They live in all tropical oceans but are very rarely seen or even caught. They grow up to 17 metres which makes the possibly the largest bony fish.
What's cool is their eggs are brightly coloured and boyant. When the eggs hatch the larvae feeds/exists with the zooplankton and once it has grown significantly to require more than just zooplankton they leave the surface until they're sick or dying.
