Ethanol will also soften certain types of rubber and plastic goods, such as your fuel line and gas tank, depending on what exactly they are made of. The dissolved goo will also get sucked into the carb and clog small passage ways.
In other words, clean your carb, check your tank and lines, and stop running ethanol blend gasoline.
