we have some friends. 100% foodie freaks. they hand grind with some burr grinder. at the end of dinner, they go around the table with the grinder. everyone has to participate. you know what? it isnt fun. the handle is too small, no stability. it is like trying to sharpen a pencil with an old school pencil sharpener that isnt fastened to the counter top or wall.

next time, i am whipping out my leatherman and i am going to unscrew that stupid handle and pull out my Dewalt drill. time to step the mofo up!!

coffee does taste a bit better tho. but it isnt worth the effort to me. i would not do it for my morning pot..ever.
