In the Cycad Family - not a true palm
For the past 15 years they've been under siege from Asiatic Scale - so popularity has drastically dropped off in the nursery and landscape industry.
There's separate male and female plants - that one is a male, Byron. It produces the pollen. The female plants produce the fruit and thus the seeds.
Macrozamias are also in this family (Cycad) and are very cool landscape plants although a bit pricey - depending on the variety....
