thanks for talking me off of the ledge. seriously. i was on about the third stage of mourning.

this is what i found: no paper towel in cylinder 4 (i found that paper towel stuck in the rose bushes next to the car, mystery solved). thus, cylinders 1, 2 and 4 are clear. i put the pieces of the paper towel together that i got out of cylinder three. there is about a 3" x 3" piece missing. i am going to do what you suggested and put it back together in the morning.

it was great talking to you. thanks again. after it fires up and things are chill, let the ribbing begin.

oh, very nice. someone didn't get the 'no teasing until it is fixed' memo.

WTH... dig in.... i deserve it.

I am fighting a smaller scale self imposed problem myself. When I replaced my hoses for the front cooler I ended up with a leak. I put the super tight twist on the hose and drove my car again today. It is still leaking.

I will take the entire thing apart again and look for any funny looking surfaces. It might well be just a cracked cooler fitting. That means a new cooler.
oh, i like that quote. i am going to use it.

i bet a new cooler is $cheap$.
