You guys can do whatever you like ... I have never had any problems with spark plugs in aluminum heads, hot or cold! I always use anti-sieze compound on them, and haven't stripped ANY threads -- NOT ONCE, in over 35 years!

Cabman ... nice theory about the aluminum holes growing smaller as they heat up ... but the only problem is, like a lot of theories unsupported by data, it simply isn't true! Have you ever replaced bearings in an aluminum hub, or bushings in an aluminum distributor? You heat them to make it easier to get old parts out and to make it easier to install the new ones!
