I know that Porsche doesn't recommend using anti-seize compound. But in 20+ years of working on these engines, I wouldn't screw a spark plug into one of these motors without it.

You can use the copper-kote (copper colored anti seize or Permatex silver colored anti-seiz compound. Either one will work well. Be consious of the torque values. Don't exceed them. It is a very sickining feeling to remove a $1.00 spark plug and finding the cylinder head threads stuck to it.

Having early training as a machinest, and seeing what threads of disimilar materials do with each other, its just cheap insureance.

The anti-seize compound will both seal and lubricate the threads.
