After replacing as much of the electrical stuff that make our lovely little cars run properly (and still not getting rid of the miss at 3000 rpm's) I put the old 2.0 injectors back in that came with the car. It's a 1.7 Calif. EB. Much to my amazement it ran the best it has in a long time and the miss was gone.
I am assuming that either there was a bad 1.7 injector, not enough fuel pressure, or this engine has been modified and requires 2.0's. My fuel gauge reads 30psi. I wonder what will happen if I increase the psi a few pounds... hmmmm.
If it's running great now should I mess w/ it more to try to get better???
Ya, I know Dave,
if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
