Carbs are probably pleading to be cleaned and rebuilt...gas is old and it has an "UNGO". Anybody remember those? I would have expected an 8-track player in the dash right next to it. I took the 6 out tonight...runs like dogpoop up to 3000 rpm then takes off like a rocket...(that's the point when I remember the tires are 20 years old...somewhat dry-rotted, and the brakes are casully ineffectual...read close to non-existant. I have started a laundry list of parts I need to acquire...might be easier to by a rusty parts car with good bumpers, rubber and chrome stuff. Is that an oxy-moron? Oh well, slippery slope. I have bribed a couple local buddies to come up and give me/it the once over in exchange for cold beer.
We'll see what they say....
