1989 325i - Code 1233 - WOT Error
Greetings,
Recently while driving my beautifully running 1989 325i Convertible, my engine would periodically seem to stall but would start back up while driving. On occasions it would sort of stutter under acceleration. While the issue was random and temporary the stomp test would only show 1444 - all clear. Then one day while driving home, the car simply died while turning a corner. The stomp test revealed 1233 - Error associated with Wide Open Throttle sensor. Having been down this road with 1232 - Throttle Idle Switch... "Check TPS for proper operation" to me equates to replace the thing and see what happens. Having had good luck with this in the past, that's what I did.
With a new TPS installed, the engine turned over once or twice for around 15 seconds and now nothing again. Code is still reading 1233.
What next?
