As for my own depression, I just downed an entire apple pie to help ease the pain.
edit: After the NTSB 1963/2008 Impala crash tests a few years ago I have doubts about Doc Brown's, "Marty, he's in a '46 Ford, we're in a DeLorean. He'd rip through us like tinfoil." comment in BTTF II. HIGHLY doubt this fact. But time travel I can accept.
