sorry your going through this.... My dog Donzi has a collapsed trachea as well. 1st vet diagnosed him with enlarged heart

so my wife took him to VCA Animal Diagnostic Clinic in Dallas where they ruled that out and said he has a collapsed trachea. She went to another diagnostic center in Los Calinas where they did a special X-Ray called a Fluoroscopy to determine the deflection of the trachea under stress. Next step will be surgery to put in a stent, kinda like the 1 the put in us for hernias( wire mesh).... Also, my wife says to get him on 1) liquid glucosamine & Chondroitin with MSM...2) Hydrocodone(keeps him from getting too excited) ... at least thats what we have our dog on...
