I had an FJ80. I was in love with the engineering. GUTLESS. I always said that you could get home with a pair of vice grips and some duct tape. And I think that is mostly true.
If I were to buy another Cruiser, it would be the FZJ80 with the 4.5 liter six. Different rig. More power.
It really was that slow.
