Let me say, that "I" do not consider them worthless. But the general stuff out there is that you should carry 9mm or larger, and a large contingent that anything without a .4 in the beginning is worthless.
Again, I understand that these pistols were designed for personal protection about 100 years ago, and were designed lower power to simplify the design of the pistol. But some point people stopped carrying the .32 and the .380.
I do know the .45 was developed after the Philippines where the enemy was hopped up on drugs and the .38 revolvers didn't do it. And the .357 was developed because the .38 special wasn't enough at times.
