hell just about every type of game in north america has been POACHED with a freeking .22. its the classic poaching round for a very long time. so whenever ya hear a round go off in the middle of BFE AT NIGHT..................its more than likely a freeking POS POACHER!
i think its illegal in ALL 50 states to shoot a firearm at night unless raccoon hunting with lights. and proper license etc.
if ya sit in a desk all day, well a big azzd ANYTHING aint nothing on yer side. start bouncing around in an active job.....................well they get real damn heavy fast.
hump a .44 mag 6" stainless all day out in the boonies and tell me yer side dont hurt. yeah right? there freeking heavy.

HK USP COMPACT ROBAR 9mm w/night sights. 13rds+1=14 rds total.
LIGHTWEIGHT easy to carry/small...............dont even know its there when weather is cool out or cold. when the temps go up............HK4 .380/.32/.25/.22/WALTHER PPK/S/ smith model 60 snubbie .38 are my choices hands down because easy to conceal in summer dress here which is either golf shirt and shorts or t-shirt and shorts.
if ya live where its cold all the time..................well carry da BLUNDERBUSS MEGA VAPORIZER! if thats what floats yer boat.
i can shoot a 9mm one hell of alot more accurate than any .45 period. my groups will be tighter and my rounds expended will be faster. thats a fact. im not a cop, i dont need a freeking mega .45 like my HK USP FULL SIZE BLUNDERBUSS! or even a full size 1911.
i thought seriously about the HK USP COMPACT 45 until i bought HK COMPACT TACTICAL .45 and ITS BIG for a compact.
now as i have mentioned here before one of our gurus ROB LEATHAM here (mr springfield ) who shoots a gazzilion rds a year uses a 9mm. and we asked him why one day????
his answer.................better tighter groups/ease of carry/more rds/less recoil. and in his job as mr springfield carpal tunnel IS REAL!
look at some of the older gunwriters(JOHN TAFFEN) who has been dealing with carpal tunnel for quite some time from a lifetime of big bore .44 and .45 shooting with mega hot rds. he did this for a living also. it comes with the job. yer wrists can ONLY HANDLE SO MUCH ABUSE!
so if yer gonna bet yer azz on yer .45...................ya better shoot it ALOT! and there spendy.
9mm wayyyyyyy cheaper and obvious less recoil with higher round count IF YA MISS! and WE ALL MISS SOMETIMES!
now if i was dealing with crack heads all damn day as a cop.....................YEPPER I WANT THE 1911 or HK USP FULL SIZE .45. i doubt many states allow their cops to carry .357 or .44 mag due to overpenetration issues with those calibers anymore and ya only get 6rds there.

.22/.25/.32/.380/9mm/.38/.40/.45 FOR BAD GUYS any are good if aimed correctly. in AZ........they dont want you to carry anything smaller than .38 or 9mm for CCW.its not a law, but they do suggest that.
.357/.44mag OR BIGGER IF YA DARE! try some buffalo bore .44mags and WATCH YER WRIST GET HAMMERED...................FOR CRITTERS! over penetration IS THE PROBLEM HERE on bad guys.
