Good to have another cab owner on-board. I live half way between Brizvegas and the Goldie and would love to talk pcars with you sometime.
I am also new to the Porsche owners club and have really learned a lot from the vast knowledge on this forum. This has helped me immensely since starting my engine rebuild. I have been making regular orders from our host and will be putting in another order soon, if you can not find those washers or other parts required I am happy to add them to my order and we can work something out.
When I dropped the engine and trans, I unbolted the axle assembly from the spline and left that where it was. Be very careful not to have the bearings fallout during the process because you don't want to mix up their positions unless you are replacing the cv's like I am.
As for the electric window and heater fans I have not had any issues with mine so far. But I have just stripped the interior and removed the air con so have some spare wires that will need to be tidied up, so I may have an issue with the blowers soon.
