Back in 1960, Aston Martin wanted to put the hurtin’ on Ferrari with their new DB4 GT, so they went to the masters at Zagato to have a lighter weight body designed and built. The chief of the transportation department at the time was Ercole Spada. Mr. Spada is considered one of the greatest transportation designers of all time. The original DB4GT Zagato was a coupe, and they only built eighteen of them. As far as the concept design the Rear Tunnel is a detriment to the design. Also the reaar wheel arch and rear end all should be more rounded as in the original design. Voloupous curves like Sophia Lorens were the hallmark of Italian design in the early 60's.
